Tour highlights

San Miguel de Allende: A historic town founded in 1542, this gem of Mexico is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. And don’t forget: It was the first town to declare independence from Spanish rule during the Mexican War of Independence.

Atotonilco: Traditional pilgrimage town and UNESCO World Heritage Site best known for its decorated 18th-century church. In fact, it is often referred to as the Sistine Chapel of Mexico!

San Miguel Viejo: This is the original placement of San Miguel, and can be found just west of the city’s current location. Its 1540s chapel is the oldest in the city and is a worthy reason to visit this historical sector.
