Get the most out of your stay in Ushuaia by exploring the surrounding area by land and sea! In the morning you will head to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, from where you can take in panoramic views of the Beagle Channel. Journey through beaver dams to reach rivers and lagoons before continuing along the final stretch of National Route 3, an extensive Argentine highway. On the way back to Ushuaia, you will stop by the peaceful Lake Acigami, formally known as Lake Roca. This body of water stretches nearly 7 miles along the border between Argentina and Chile.
Hop in a boat in the afternoon to sail through the Beagle Channel, with Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse as your turnaround point. The surrounding mountains will be a steady companion as you spot flocks of birds and sea lion colonies, even learning the difference between sea lions and fur seals along the way. After reaching the so-called Lighthouse at the End of the World, you will return to Ushuaia for a restful night.

This morning you will depart from your hotel for the precious opportunity to witness Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the few glaciers in the world that is still advancing. Part of the Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Perito Moreno is an impressive river of ice that covers nearly 160 square miles, with a front wall that reaches up to 200 feet above lake level.
You will have the chance to admire this impressive natural site from various angles thanks to a 2.5-mile boardwalk located in front of the mammoth glacier. And keep your camera ready, as every 10-20 minutes a chunk of ice tends to crumble from this glacier! If desired, hop on a one-hour boat ride which provides another perspective of Perito Moreno.
