Your trip to Peru has officially begun! A representative will pick you up from the airport at the scheduled time to transfer you to your hotel in Lima. A modern metropolis full of history, travelers can find comfort and cultural activities in the capital city — though you’ll want to get plenty of rest as your sightseeing adventure begins the following day.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will begin your scenic Peru tour along the city’s boardwalk, crossing the bohemian district of Barranco and the modern district of Miraflores, where you will pass by the “Parque del Amor” (Park of Love) for an imposing view of the Pacific Ocean. Then, arrive at a thematic restaurant to participate in a cocktail class to learn how to prepare the famous Pisco Sour as well as a cooking class to prepare your very own typical Peruvian dish. Finishing both, you will indulge in a delicious lunch overlooking the sea before being transferred back to your hotel for the day.

After breakfast at your hotel, begin your Peru tour in central Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site lined with historic colonial architecture and romantic main squares. A scenic tour will take you back in time, from the early 16th Century mansions and the characteristic Cathedral, which took over a century to build. Next, we will move along to visit Casa Aliaga, a renowned colonial mansion belonging to the family of Francisco Pizarro’s chief conquistador, Jeronimo de Aliaga. Then, in the neighboring district of Pueblo Libre, we’ll step inside a restored mansion that houses Larco Museum, renowned for its large collection of pre-Hispanic gold and silver objects as well as ancient erotic art. Round off the day’s adventures in your hotel.

Enjoy breakfast at your Lima hotel before continuing your trip to Cusco city. After a short flight (90 minutes) from Lima to Cusco, you’ll have a chance to settle into your hotel before an afternoon of art.

In the afternoon, let your imagination fly in two magnificent workshops offered by Art Trail, a project that connects visitors with Cusco’s ever-growing art culture. Follow along with renowned local artists during the first activity, Cusco Colonial Glazed Ceramics, where you will have a chance to create your own work of art. Then, during the second activity, Colonial Gold Leaf, you will enjoy painting with the characteristic mountain colors followed by gold leaf decorations, a traditional technique that Art Trail has recovered and applied in contemporary crafts. Your personalized works are delivered to your hotel the next day.

After a short transfer following breakfast at the hotel, arrive at the Machu Picchu ruins, a masterpiece of architecture even by today’s terms. This famed peak is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. We’ve made sure to a lot plenty of time to this tour so you can appreciate this majestic site and soak in the views. Upon your return to Aguas Calientes, you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you’ll take a train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, from where you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Cusco city.

After breakfast, we will embark on a walking tour of San Blas to stretch out your legs. What is now today’s conglomerate of charming small cobblestone streets was originally used as dwellings for the Inca nobles. It is located just a short distance from Huacaypata, the Main Square. Among its top attractions is the San Blas Church, famous for its intricate wood pulpit. Finish the tour by visiting the local San Pedro Market, which is filled with thousands of products from different areas of the region. Finally, return to your hotel to relax for the day.

After having breakfast at the hotel, a transportation service takes you to the airport for your return flight to Lima. In the afternoon, you’ll be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the Magic Water Circuit of Lima, the world’s largest fountain complex in a public park. After your visit, you’ll enjoy dinner and a show of typical Peruvian dances before returning to your hotel.
